I've made this for a contest in CSS.

The original picture was a Chevrolet Malibu. With that in mind i thought about making a successor of Opel Omega. For the ones that are not comfortable with the european brands history, Omega was the top from Opel, meant to fight against Mercedes E class or BMW 5 Series. As you know, competing with premium brands like those in their terrain it's very hard and, due to insignificant sales, Opel give up Omega lineup.

Know that you are able to understand the positioning of Omega in the european market, time to resume the work made. So, i take some part's from the Insignia Concept, mainly the front grille and rims. To integrate the grille with the body i'd to brush all the hood. I redesigned also the headlight's, trying to give them a more "euro look". The front air intakes were also brushed leaving the fog light's and chrome bar from the Malibu. Since i was running out of time, i tried to modified the back a little.

Like usual ,if i'd more time i could done better but...
Nevertheless, although the front represents what i'd in mind at the time, and it's not bad, the rest of the car ruin the global look!
